3. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
BidPixel is an online collaborative pixel canvas. Users purchase prepaid credits (internal wallet balance) to buy and customize virtual pixels on a grid. Credits have no cash value outside the platform, are not financial instruments, and cannot be exchanged for money.
4. TERMS OF SALE
4.1 Credits and pricing
- Credits are sold in packs or custom amounts (minimum shown on the site), priced in US dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise.
- The price shown at checkout is the price charged. Any bank or foreign exchange fees from your card issuer are your responsibility.
- Purchased credits are added to your BidPixel wallet after payment is confirmed by our payment provider.
4.2 Non-refundable
Credits are a digital service delivered immediately once credited to your wallet. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no refunds are provided once credits are available in your account, except where required by mandatory law or in case of a billing error caused by BidPixel.
4.3 No withdrawal and pixel replacement
- Credits cannot be withdrawn or converted to cash.
- If another user outbids and replaces your pixel, the corresponding amount is refunded to your internal wallet for use on BidPixel only.
- BidPixel may change game rules, pixel pricing, or features for future use.
4.4 Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Stripe Checkout). BidPixel does not store your card numbers. The descriptor BIDPIXEL may appear on your bank statement.
4.5 User account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Activity on your account is attributed to you. BidPixel may suspend or delete accounts for abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms.
4.6 Right of withdrawal
For digital credits delivered immediately after payment, you acknowledge that performance begins before any withdrawal period ends and that, by completing the purchase, you expressly waive your right of withdrawal for this digital content where the law allows.
5. PRIVACY POLICY (GDPR)

- Account: email address, display name, optional avatar.
- Usage: pixel placements, wallet history, in-game notifications.

- Providing the service and managing your wallet.
- Security, fraud prevention, and support.
- Legal and accounting obligations.

Contract performance (use of the service), legitimate interest (security), and legal obligations (accounting).
5.5 Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active, then deleted or anonymized within a reasonable time after closure, except where longer retention is required by law (e.g. accounting records).

6. COOKIES
BidPixel uses strictly necessary cookies for login sessions. Cloudflare Turnstile may set cookies or similar technologies during signup to limit abuse. BidPixel does not use advertising cookies.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The site, its design, code, and the BidPixel brand are protected. Content you publish on the canvas (images, text) remains your responsibility; you grant BidPixel a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The service is provided "as is". BidPixel does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for user-generated canvas content or indirect damages. Our liability is limited to the amount of credits paid by the affected user in the twelve (12) months before the event, to the extent permitted by law.
9. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of Luxembourg. Disputes will first be addressed amicably where possible. Failing that, the courts of Luxembourg have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
